Why My Inner Compass Coaching began

My vision is a future where people have a deeper understanding of themselves and others. I believe that emotional intelligence is one of the most important life skills we can develop because it influences so many areas of our lives – the way we build relationships, communicate with others, navigate challenges, learn, work and understand ourselves.

When children develop emotional awareness and confidence from an early age, they gain skills that extend far beyond the classroom. These skills can help them build healthier relationships, make positive choices, develop resilience through challenges and grow into adults who feel more connected, self-aware and able to understand the people around them.

Through My Inner Compass, I want to help children feel heard, understood and equipped with the emotional tools that can support them throughout every stage of life. I believe that when we understand ourselves better, we create stronger relationships, stronger communities and a more compassionate world.

Why Emotional Intelligence Matters

Children today are growing up in a world filled with increasing pressures, changing relationships and emotional challenges. Alongside academic learning, they are also learning how to understand themselves, build friendships, manage emotions and navigate the world around them.

Emotional intelligence is more than talking about feelings – it is developing the ability to understand emotions, respond to challenges and build positive relationships.
